Ambass-A-Door Windows and Doors Ltd manufacture an extensive range of European Redwood softwood and Sapele hardwood windows.

All softwood and hardwoods are sourced from a sustainable forest and preservative treated with Protim 418 by double vacuum impregnation and are supplied fully factory finished using high performance spray applied microporous coatings.

Existing openings:

- The Contractor is entirely responsible for ascertaining the size, position and any other relevant information required for each individual door for new build or renewal.

- The Contractor shall measure the diagonals, height and width of each structural opening (excluding masonry sills). Should any opening prove to be excessively misaligned, the Contractor shall notify the CA immediately and, in any event, prior to manufacture.

- Any defects in the structural opening, apparent at the time of survey, that may effect the replacement of the window, shall be notified to the CA immediately.

- All windows are to be measured and manufactured to a maximum tolerance of 10mm on any side. On no account shall any structural opening exceed the fitted frame by more than 20mm in either the overall width or height.

- At any time of the measured survey the Contractor is to ensure that all proposed doors will operate to their full opening, whether inward or outward, without obstruction (eg. stone dressings etc.). Any obstruction shall be notified to the CA immediately.
